This is the last term that CS 100 will be offered in its current form.
Beginning in Spring 2024, the course content for CS 100 will change and the course will be offered in-person.
Originally, this switch was planned for the Fall of 2020, but the global pandemic kind of got in the way, and so that plan was put "on hold".
Subsequently, this switch was supposed to occur this term (Winter 2023) but there were some administrative issues which caused another delay.
Unfortunately, because of this delay, we are continuing to offer the course in its pre-pandemic state.
Some of the content is a little out of date. For example, we talk about 3G technology when 5G is now all the hotness, but the core principles of what is being taught has not changed.
We have provided written transcripts for each of the videos. Corrections in the video have been marked with strikethrough, and alternative wording has been placed in [square brackets] to correct some awkward phrasing in the videos.
