Cost Accounting

Finally, during the project phases starting with the establishment of your team and ending with the delivery of your project, every team member should have been keeping a simple diary of time spent on various activities. A team summary of that material should be prepared and handed in with before the end of the term so that an approximate ``price'' for your system can be computed. The cost-accounting document will contain the total times spent, in hours, for each of the activity categories given in 2.8, summed over all team members. It will also include a bottom-line total of all hours spent by all members of the team in all activities related to the software development of the system. These figures are only to include the original system development and should not take any of the enhancement/maintenance activities into account.
