(Aug 1, 2012) For assignment 4 Questions 1, 2 and 4 were marked by Alexandre Laplante. Questions 3 and 5 were marked by Wei Hu. You can pick up assignment 4 tomorrow at my office,
(July 30, 2012) You can pick up assignment 4 tomorrow at my office, between 11:30 and 12:00. I will place the pile outside my office after that.
(July 28, 2012) Notes on the exam:
1. There are extra questions in the exam. You are not expected to answer all of them, so do not panic if you cannot answer a given question. Simply skip that question and move on to the next one.
2. For any given question you get 20% marks if you write "I don't know". If you attempt a solution then marking for that question starts from zero, unless you cross it out. What this means is that if you believe you have a reasonable answer you should write it, but if you have no clue about the solution you are better off taking a "pass" on that question and getting 20% of the marks.
