Adlez was inspired by the series of Zelda games for the various Nintendo game consoles. I attempted to make a game with the same sort of appeal as the original Zelda, but with more up-to-date graphics.
Adlez uses the following graphics concepts:
- L-Systems for trees
- Volumetric shadows
- Particle systems for water and blood
- Alpha blending
- Multitexturing and mipmapping
- and more
