Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30 -- 9:50, in PHY 150.

In the typical week, a discussion on a topic occupies the full Tuesday session and continues in the first 25 minutes of the Thursday session, and an RPE occupies the last 55 minutes of the Thursday session. Each of the first two assignments is due at 10:00am on a Friday. Each of the last three assignments, which are tied to a particular class meeting, is due at 8:30am on the date of the class meeting, a Tuesday or a Thursday.
Here is a tentative list, in the planned order of coverage, of the topics to be discussed in the classes. These items will fill the timetable below as the term unfolds.
Here is a list of all the readings lists. These will be distributed to the appropriate places in the timetable below. In any case, you may find some of these readings useful for your RPEs and assignments.
