Handback Policies

Effective September 2008, courses will either require students to come directly to course staff in order to retrieve their assignments, or utilize a system such as the following:

• Students have 2 weeks from the initial handback date to pick up assignments in person during ISA/IA consulting hours or tutorials. After this point, they will be left in the handback boxes outside MC 4065.
• Midterm examinations can be picked up within the same time frame, and after that point a special appointment is needed to retrieve them.
• If a student indicates such a desire at the opt-out page, we will record that he or she would like to get the assignment privately. These assignments will be available for 2 weeks for in-person retrieval at office hours or tutorials, and then an ISA/IA will hold on to the assignments until an appointment is made.
• After the term has ended, all unclaimed assignments and midterms will be shredded.
