CS125: Introduction to Programming Principles

Course Grade

The course grade will be determined as follows.

Important: Students must pass the weighted average of the midterm and final exam in order to pass the course. If this weighted average is a failure, that weighted average will be the course grade.

As labs and assignments are worth a small portion of the final grade, there is only a modest immediate benefit derived from completing them. Students may find this frustrating since the largest amount of time is dedicated to them. However, completing lab exercises and assignments will definitely improve a student's performance on exams.
