Lectures

The course will run online until January 24th. By that point, the university will decide whether it will continue online, or if in-class lectures can resume. Hence, there are pre-recorded lectures in Textbook and Lecture Videos page for the first three weeks of the term.

The course notes covered in the lectures are available for download, and are the same as the slides shown in the pre-recorded lectures or delivered in-class.

CS343 does NOT use Learn.

Assessment

There are six programming assignments with fixed deadlines at two week intervals, as well as a 2.5 hour midterm and final exam. If the exams are held online, they will take the form of a small, open-book programming assignment to be downloaded, completed, and submitted within a 24-hour window. If the exams are proctored, they will be closed-book and held during the specified time slot on the calendar of classes/exam schedule.
