• Operating System Concepts, 9th or 8th Edition. Silberschatz, Galvin, and Gagne. John Wiley and Sons. (6th, or 7th editions are also fine).
• Several copies on reserve in the DC library for 3 hour loan.
  • 8th edition (updated): Call number UW 1648.

  • 7th edition: Call number UWD 1631.

A Collection of Tutorials and Useful Information

• Tutorials on C++, Gdb, etc.
• Assemblers, Linkers and the SPIM simulator.
  This provides excellent information on the MIPS hardware/software interface. Including stack frames, procedure calls, exceptions, interrupts, etc.
