Managing and Being Managed

Each body of work handed in before the final project is delivered is to be ``presented and signed off'' by a team member, and each team member is to act in this capacity no more than once during the term until all team members have acted at least once in this role. This does not mean that the team member must do the work, although she or he may participate in it, but it is the team member's responsibility to manage activities and resources so that the work does get done. And it is a further responsibility that the team member check the work over and verify with her/his signature that it is up to reasonable standards of quality, both in form and content.

The handing in of a body of work may be accompanied by the requirement that the work be presented for review by the instructor and the class. The responsible team member is to do this alone.
